Quito and surroundings Indian Markets National Parks Cuenca Chiva Express

Framed by the majestic Andes not far off from Quito we can experience the authentic atmosphere of Indian villages on market days. This population sells their goods once a week in different Andean locations. The vendors crowd in from the nearby villages bringing their merchandise. The Indian tribes of the Andes still maintain their ancient customs, which contrast with modern life. For a long time, these markets have played an important role in Indian life.

Bargaining is normal and the tourist will be able to obtain good prices by haggling a bit. Handicraft objects are very low priced in comparison with the Quito Shops.
